Problem Solving Process

While you are working on this computer, it is extremely important that you follow a process of problem solving.

Complete this sheet while you are working and hand it in at the end of class along with any other notes you make and printouts of information you use during class.

1. Identify the problem - Write a sentence about the problem you are looking to solve with your computer.

2. Gather information - Tell where you are looking for information. Who are you asking? what web pages are you looking at? What information are you looking up? Include printouts of the pages you find online. Put these in your folder.

 

3. Identify Possible Solutions - There are often more than one way to solve a problem. Some solutions are more complex, some are more complete, some are easier and some require special parts, tools or knowledge. List out three possible solutions to the problem you have identified above.
