Briefly describe the project:

Parts of a computer project, I am researching the RFID Antennas on the ibm computers that come from the 8o penium 3's project

What have you accomplished this week?

I cracked open the case and got an rfid antenna, looked up the product number and sent an email to the person who donated the machines. I also asked twenty or thirty people about the rfid antennae and told how I figured out what they are.

What problems have you overcome this week?

I picked a project, asked a bunch of questions and started looking up the information. I think these antennae may be required for the ibm machines to work. I looked them up on ebay and found out that they are selling for 20 bucks. Most of the other places that carry them are out of stock.

What are the most significant problems you face at this time? What will you do to meet these problems?

I would like to find a datasheet on the antennae. I would like to see if I can get more info about them. A friend of mine at mit might know about these things, so I will bring one up to him this weekend. I have already made a photo of one of them, so I could post it on the make flickr pool and see if there is anybody out there whith info about them.

What materials or information do you need? How do you plan on getting these materials or information?

I really need the datasheet and some links to info about the things.
